Cinnamon Scrolls

Ingredients
Dough
- 60g Bulk Nutrients Protein Matrix+ Cinnamon Doughnut
- 200g Plain flour
- 25g Splenda (powdered)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 42g Flora light butter (melted)
- 50g of low-fat vanilla Greek yoghurt
- 50g unsweetened apple sauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Filling
- 12g Flora light butter
- 5g Cinnamon sugar
Topping
- 12g Bulk Nutrients Protein Matrix+ Cinnamon Doughnut
- 25ml Skim milk
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 180°C fan-forced.
- Step 2: Place all dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl and whisk together until well combined.
- Step 3: Add in all wet ingredients and mix until dough is formed. Once dough is formed knead on a floured surface until smooth.
- Step 4: On a floured surface roll dough out into a large rectangle approx. 1 cm thick.
- Step 5: With a butter knife, lightly spread butter over dough and then cinnamon sugar. Roll dough from one of the longer sides and then cut into 2cm sections and place in a lined round baking tray.
- Step 6: Bake for 10-15mins and let cool.
- Step 7: In a small mixing bowl mix protein powder and skim milk, then drizzle over cinnamon scrolls.
